As an Asset Transfer Specialist, you will design, project manage and oversee the transfer of assets for clients from start to finish and manage risks and costs to the client (out of market risk, timing risk and minimising transaction costs).

About the Role

As an Asset Transfer Specialist, you will design, project manage and oversee the transfer of assets for clients from start to finish and manage risks and costs to the client (out of market risk, timing risk and minimising transaction costs).

  • Be proficient in managing daily requests for security transfers, from initiation of request to completion.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of security transfer requests.
  • Effective management and resolution of failed transfers, and cash and stock breaks.
  • Provide seamless, efficient, effective administration of the transfers being processed.
  • Close liaison and coordination with various parties, including internal departments, custodians and counterparties.
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures, control guidelines, market regulations and compliance framework during processing.
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by your Line Manager.

About you

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in transfers-related function for local and global securities in a private banking environment would be desirable.
  • Experience with Altus would be desirable
  • Meticulous with good attention to detail.
  • Service oriented with prior experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders. (Internal departments, custodians, counterparties, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
