Michael Fordham
Michael FordhamManaging Director
Michael has established several successful investment systems and administration businesses and has played a key role in a number of high profile initiatives in the UK investment market.

He was involved in some of the early Wrap initiatives and jointly founded the first IFA Wrap platform, Ascentric. This was acquired by Royal London in 2007 and Michael remained as Director until late 2008.

Previously he was a joint founder of the Northumberland Group and grew it until its sale to Banque Generale du Luxembourg in 1991 and Investment Sciences Ltd in 2001 which provided market edge trading platforms and Wrap systems.

His career has also included senior positions with Cap Gemini, Interactive Investor and WAY Group.

John Whitley
John WhitleyHead of I.T
John has over 20 years in the IT industry and brings with him a wealth of experience and technical skills. He has provided IT consultancy and project management services to corporate companies including Barclays Bank, B&Q and Whirlpool. John joined in early 2016 to implement all the exciting enhancements planned for the Platform One systems.
Kerry Clifford
Kerry CliffordHead of Finance
Kerry had primarily worked in sales and retail management from 2003, making a career change to credit risk in 2014. As a credit risk analyst for Allstar Business Solutions, Kerry gained substantial experience in analysing company accounts and financials working in Swindon.

Having relocated to Dorset in July 2016, Kerry joined our client services team bringing her administrative skills.

Georgia Sims

Georgia has worked in Finance since 2007 when she joined JP Morgan on their UK Trade Settlements Team later moving to their UK Physicals Team. Georgia has experience with Crest settling trades in the UK market & dealing with Physical Certificates transferring and depositing shares, Gilts & touched on Unit Trusts.

Georgia joined Platform One in March 2016 as part of our Sales & Business Support Team, assisting Platform One’s business development managers.


Clive BoothmanChairman
A Chartered Accountant by background, Clive Boothman is best known for establishing and driving the funds business of Schroders to success in the 1980/90s. He was initially a fund manager but became Managing Director of their mutual fund business, Schroder Unit Trusts. Later he became Managing Director of Schroder’s global private client business. After leaving Schroders he became Chief Executive of Gerrard Limited and oversaw the merger of the two stockbroking firms, Greig Middleton and Capel Cure Sharp, into the largest stockbroker in the UK. In 2002 he became CEO of Cofunds, one of the early leaders in the creation of platforms for IFAs. In 2004 he became a founder of the Ascentric Platform which he steered through set-up, development and sale to Royal London. He remained as non-Executive chairman until late 2014.
Kenneth WrenchNon-Executive Director
Ken Wrench has been in the pensions industry for over 40 years and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He was a Pensioneer Trustee in his own right from 1979 and formerly lectured in PMI subjects at the City of London Polytechnic.

Prior to founding LCT Pensions Limited (then known as Select Pensions Ltd) in 1988 he was Pensions Manager and a senior executive of a major insurer. He was also a founder and the Chief Executive of London & Colonial Holdings Limited until 2016 as well as being the Managing Director of London & Colonial Services Limited.

Ken was an original founder of Platform One and has been an active adviser to Platform One on its pensions offerings. More recently he has been the driver for developing an integrated SSAS and platform service through LCT Pensions Limited.
